Now Elizabeth City is known for its Hospitality for years anyone coming to the dock receives a rose picked and delivered to the admiral and invited for free wine and cheese.

We toured the town the first nite with Bob N Along and went for a beer at a local pub, got pizza and had a great time with the locals.  Then it began to rain and Natalie and I cut the pizza box held it over our head and ran back to the boats as we had left all windows open and it rained hard.

WE have come a long way and the pioneers are the ones that made it happen.

By the way they did have a wild horse here as well.  It no longer fit in with the pack so they have domesticated it, they cannot put back in the wild.

We did not get a chance to visit this place but here the slaves were given some land for them to do as they wished as long as they helped keep the plantation running.

So we walked around so more and came upon this place for a hot dog.  Best hot dog ever and lemonade.  I would recommend this place to everyone.

That’s the dock at Elizabeth City as we are leaving and heading to the dismal swamp.  I can’t wait.
