Some of the sites we saw on our way to Black Point Anchorage.  The waves hitting on the other side of the island had to be 100 feet in the air so you understand the power of the waves.

This guy owns his own island wow what a place this was on our way.

We anchored and then went out to play.  WE walked from the shore to the other side to take pictures of the waves coming up on shore.  What a sight, beautiful to watch the power and we found some blow holes as well.DSC09446.JPG

The blow holes spraying up water.

You can see the blow holes are some distance from the ocean and how much forces is used to blow the water up these holes.

So we came into town to scope things out.

Visited the bar and I ordered a rum punch there was more rum in there than punch but it tasted so good after being tied to the boat for 3 days.  Then we went to Loraines and had more drinks and a snack fish and cracked conch.  Great we did not even need to have supper we were so full.

Took our car back to the boat and low and behold in bed by 6:30.  I didn’t even do sunset or sunrise.  Miss everyone more to come.

  1. Beautiful shots! We’re in Stuart, we saw the waves from the same system here at the beach on the ocean side. The power of the surf is amazing. Glad the anchor is holding!
