So we anchored just around the corner at Liberty State Park and it was fantastic, no wakes no waves it was a little windy and we took a dingy ride and tied up and walked the park.
Did not know they had an explosion here that actually blew parts to the statue that must be a mile away from us.
I think that boat has been here awhile.
This is the view from our anchorage.
Time to get moving.
You can see all the people at the statue the cruise ships drop of hundreds of visitors every 1/2 hour.
We came past the fire boat in the harbour and wait till you see what he does.
I think he is trying to keep all the boat traffic away.
These are some of the pictures taken while underway.
Lots of rock and roll while travelling in the downtown area.
Now this was an interesting building and when we looked it up it is an apartment building and the centre is a garden on the ground floor. I cannot do it justice but I will try.
We are going up the Hudson to Half Moon Bay Marina.
General Grants Tomb. New York on one side and New Jersey on the other side.
This is George Washington Bridge they have 2 levels for cars and trucks to go.
They are dismanteling this bridge.
Now we are fast approaching 1/2 Moon Bay Marina where we are picking up a package and stay for a few days. This is Sing Sing Prison we are passing.
We have arrived and I took these pictures just before we went to bed.
Until tomorrow more to come.
Wow, looks like a perfect anchorage for New York City!
Looks like a great run up the Hudson River and another beautiful sunset at Half Moon Bay.
