So the nest day we were going to head out but rain was forecast for another day so we worked on things in the boat. Another boat anchored with us and came to visit.
Gumby 11 who had a bad experience crossing the bay. We told Mike we would leave in the morning and most likely cross paths again.
This goose watched us from his perch for 1/2 a day. Quite amazing actually.
Remember it was pretty much cloudy and rainy all day but we left in the morning and did pass Gumby 11 and spoke about going to another anchorage Mills Creek.
Saw several large cargo ships on our way.
As well as this lighthouse that someone lived in at one time to ensure the safety of ships passing.
Now we are passing Gumby 11
Travelling by himself in all weather and circumstances until his wife joins him in New York. Should see tonite in Mills Creek Solomons Island.
Lots of activity on the water.
Aircraft hangers.
So we arrived at Mills Creek, Solomons Island and we had a downpour.
The rained cleared and we had the sun back.
Even caught the rainbow.
This place we could not even see in the downpour last nite.
