Yorkton, VA

So we came to Yorkton to a little Marina outside of town.  Great little spot reasonable rates and could not do enough to help you out.

Took Uber to the visitors centre and took a trolley to visit the city.  Lots of history just to much for me to take in.

Went inside a made up ship inside the museum to see what life was like for those on a vessel.  Really small people I would say.

Now you need a car to drive all over the fields that they fought in.  We just could not take the dingy so we wandered everywhere else.

Toured the town by foot to see some of the old existing houses still.  One of them still has a cannon embedded in the outside wall.

Back to the marina, tomorrow we are having the boat taken out to wash the bottom and get any barnicles off.  Meet Summertime at the marina., they are gold loopers and they took us to town to get propane and a few groceries. Great people and the stay there was fantastic.
