Thunderbolt/Savannah

So we tied up did laundry, took the courtesy car to West Marine and a few other stops and came back to the marina.

The next day we got Uber glad we figured out how to use them and took uber to Savannah and took a tour on the trolley.

Ist stop was this church and it is rather impressive.  A group of women helped save the church.DSC00866.JPG

The ceiling  and height is amazing.

Next we visited the prohibition museum in Savannah, this was really cool.

Now these two picture frames told the story about prohibition which was really a nice change as you can see I caught the lady in the act of speaking.

I did not know that nascar was started by the rum runners outrunning the police and working on their cars.DSC00909.JPG

So by the time we got out of the museum all the other locations we wanted to visit were closed.  So make sure you have time to see everything and not just 1/2  a day.

So we missed the Davenport House and decided to go get an icecream.  This icecream is made daily and the lineup is down the street.  It was really tasty.DSC00910.JPG

Took the last bus back to where we started so we could catch Uber back to the boat.  Lots of walking and a long day.
