So I am now backing up to Clifton Marina, we stayed 2 nites and where tied to the gas dock so we could not use the Barbie. First night we had hamburgers at the restaurant. It is owned by an older gentleman in his 80’s and he works their as well. He built it he has a lady who manages the books and looks after the marina and booking in clients as well and she is in her 70’s.
This marina is right on the road shown on the top of this picture.
This is the fuel dock and our boat. No cooking.
This is Amy who worked at the restaurant and cooked us breakfast before we left. We did use the courtesy car to go to town we only had space for 5 so John stayed behind.
Left to head off for our next field trip.
More trailers with the coverings over top a smart way to stay in the shade and if required drive your mobile to safe ground in high water.
The change is scenery is incredible.
Now we spotted this on the riverbank it looks like garbage from a barge that may have been a runaway.
Still lots of birds.
Now this house must have help it is well maintained pool and large property,
