On our way to Hoppies we travel through St. Louis so these are pictures from the water.
I did not know they had horses and buggies to take you into the downtown core and site see.
Just had this photo e-mailed to me and wanted to show you our boat going past the arch, thanks to Corine.
Once again from the river this time this is the Arch in St. Louis. still on our way to Hoppies.
This gives you a little perspective on how huge the bridges are. Se the man standing under one of the pillars.
Now this guys must have a a bad day diving into the pool. It is funny what you see from the river.
WE have arrived at Hoppies and we are just waiting for all the other boats to tie up before we come in. Now you must listen to the attendants as you are not allowed to step onto the dock until you are fully tied. They cross your lines and make sure everything is safe as the barges come through all nite and you don’t want to come loose or bounce all over. Guess where we ended up the first boat on the barge which means we get to catch and stop all the logs coming down and bouncing on all the boats. HAHHA
That’s us you can just see the top of our boat and the building is the washrooms on the barge. Pretty neat actually.
