Left Regatta Bay about 9 am heading for the Bustards. Turned into the big water at Pointe Au Baril at 11:30 to head to the Bustards water is pretty calm. As we started to travel John said we where going to head straight to Kilarney weather was good and we actually powered up to 15 knots. I have included some pictures here as we approach Kilareny you will see the quartz on the LaClouche mountains. Now John said these mountains at one time were higher than the Rockies but that was years ago. Even so they are impressive and you can see the quartz from 20 miles away.
We decided to go to Cover Portage and spend the night, you may be able to make out the Indian face in the rock at cover portage.
You are well on your way to the most amazing adventure. We loving hearing about your trip. The North Channel ‘s beauty takes your breath away.
