WE anchored at the intersection of Little Lizard and Big Lizard Creek. Great anchorage and beautiful little spot. Had a couple of fishermen come in don’t think they were fishing as we heard gunshots and they were using flashlights as it was dark.
You can see the foliage is changing every day.
So the clearance on this bridge was only 5 feet we called and asked when he would raise the bridge and he did in about 10 minutes 5 boats got through at that time.
Remember the bridge well these guys are working on the railway tracks that the bridge raises and lowers for,
And there goes the train and look again you can still see the tracks.
WE are fast approaching Mobile. Once we get there we need another 14 miles to get to Turners Marina.
All these big ships makes me miss job with dealing with students.
We turned the AIS off as ;you can understand why below.
See the rescue craft they are ready to launch.
Even here we must watch out for
Even here we must watch out for logs that was a telephone pole.
This is the harbour in Mobile very busy place.
When we came alongside here kids where asking us to honk the horn and there were at least 10 buses located out front but I do not see any sign on the building as to what it was.
Okay so now we are in open seas heading to Turners and we came across the shrimp boat. That’s all for now.
Salt water, well done! Love the AIS shot, were they all moving, or just had their transmitters on?
